BAGHDAD UNDER AMERICAN CONTROL
Today American soldiers walked through the streets of Baghdad, greeted by a shower of flowers and cheers from the Baghdadis.
The US finds itself in a unique position where it can show up its skeptics (France, Germany, etc.) by turning Iraq into a sovereign state that volutarily allies itself whole-heartedly with the US, like the British regime.
The reconstruction of Iraq and our international ties will be an interesting process.
