referendum back on

delay overruled

The Indiana State Appellate Court today said the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corp. can hold its tax referendum on April 8.

The court overturned Vanderburgh Circuit Judge Pro Tem David Kiely's ruling that stopped the referendum. Kiely's ruling, issued Friday, said the referendum question was not properly worded.

It'll be interesting to see how the referendum turns out. Maybe I could put some money on it and get back the money I lost for my NCAA brackets...

Just kidding!
